In the real world, we HAVE to be good (unless of course jail time doesn't bother us!).
So working for Sark is a nice way to let out the frustration... Except for that whole his being derezzed thing...

I believe in the Users so I fight for  .
Besides, the MCP makes pixel pushing rather difficult. He issues out too many illegal operations.   A free system is so much easier to work in.
Sark does offer his warriors a nice health plan that covers dental and broke or derezzed identity discs. Course some warriors are in it for the half price Sark's Brew bonus.

It's more of an aesthetic choice, really. I mean, can you imagine me dressed in blue? It just doesn't fit. I'm so much more rrrrrrrrred than that.

I fight for the System. When the MCP and Sark were running things, it was in the best interest of the Sytem to fight against them. Now that the system is run by the Users again and the Kernel and the ICPs are monitoring and maintaining the System, I am aligned with them, despite that both the MCP's forces and the Kernel's forces are "Red".
