I finnished the game on v9.2.7
(ohh and btw always always do basic training because it puts you up to v1.0.0 right away!)

That's pretty good, the best I could get was 9.6.9, but I did find all 100 build points, so I must have missed an optional objective somewhere.
Supposedly you can get to 10.0.0, but I don't know if anyone has achieved that yet (though maybe the hint guide probably tells you how).

Took me ages to do (was playing on insane level) But ya I restarted because my bro was on the 2nd level with more points than I was and he said he did all the training, I then realised completing the training must have given you build points.
btw did you tell the guy who will win the cycle race?. you get build points for doing stupid things at the start too like talking to byte asking him what does that thing do n stuff

I just finished on insane and had 9.8.3
I had all the build points.
The only thing I can think of that I might have missed is the final 3 light cycle grids.....I get build points for beating the first one, and the third
but none for the 2nd grid....and that was the grid I slipped a few times on and derezzed. Darn walls

What exactly does finishing with build points do? I've collected many, however, is it sort of like scoring so many points in an old arcade game? I mean whats the use of these build points?

Each build point you get ups your version by 0.0.2 (or something around there, I don't remember exactly). They help increase your version number and that in turn helps you level up Jet faster. So they are of greater benefit than just seeing if you can collect them all.

plus build nodes/other points are by interestings things you might miss otherwise, silly conversations, fun jumping puzzle's (hehe), or other things that you dont need to do, but are fun interesting none the less (at least for me).

Hmph well I've finsihed the game for the 5th time now on Insane with all build notes and still only 9.8.3
Ive thoroughly explored the boards yet I must still be missing something or somethingS that would grant me the final 10.7 build points I need. I never skip the basic training either.
The only things that come to mind are certain levels where you can never find the needed permissions to open certain doors (waiting area for light cycle tournaments, mobile Fcon server,) or never being able to locate the permissions needed to liberate the other prisoners like ROMie.
The only other possibility is I suppose being able to go thru the game withOUT derezzing on all the light cycle grids. I got thru most of them including the last 3 without derezzing but I know I was getting smeared for a time on a few of them.
Any thoughts or ideas?
