*sings* Beat iiiiiiiit, just beat iiiiiiiiiiit...
So anywho, great game, leaves a small opening for a sequel, the final boss level was a GREAT concept (though a bit hard to navigate, especially during the second part of it), and all in all, I really liked the game. The bugs annoyed me a bit, but luckily even though several sounds disappeared from my final cutscene, it didn't lock up.
Final Build Number: 9.7.9. I missed TWO build points, both in levels that you could NOT go backwards in (though I'm ashamed to admit I missed one in the internet city... stupid lift wouldn't go back up...) and I think I MIGHT have missed a single email.

You can PM them to me and I can tell you if you're right or not. :P
The single plot twist of the game you can smell anywhere from half a mission to two missions away though.

Beat it like.. 2 minutes ago.
Great game. I'll post a full review later.
I think I ended up with a version number of v9.6.1 or something around that. I've got a quicksave right before I beat the final boss, so I'll check later.

The final boss was... long. I turned it into a slugging match with the disc and just kept hammering at it while standing right next to a health Patch Routine, all the while disinfecting corrupted subroutines. It took a little while, but so long as I could recharge my health, I put it down on the first try without much difficulty.
Hands down, the Kernel was my favorite character. He was a lot of fun, IMO. His "boss fight" was also the most fun. I loved it when he said "Discs only!". I went, "Hell yeah! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!" ----------------------------

----------------*SPOILERS*----------------
Yeah, it's sad you have to fight the kernel, but I LOVED the 'Discs only' thing. My favorite character would have to be I-No though, but only just barely. None of the characters really stood out for me. 'Cept maybe the white bad guy (as opposed to the black dude, who was cool too, and the chick with purple hair, who was just dull).
This definitely was NOT a 40 hour game though. 20-25 hours, and that's with several instances of taking 30 minutes to do one tiny part of a level, re-re-re-re-re-re-loading. And it was disappointing to find that the build notes were rarely, if ever, hidden.
Can't believe I got the BlasterMesh in the first couple of levels. That didn't make any sense to me at all. Lost it when I got captured, of course, but having the blaster mesh period didn't make sense.
I didn't do the slugging match with the final boss till I got him down to the third section. And I plonked down next to an ENERGY patch, and hit him with my Cluster disc. He rarely, if ever, hit me, so I never needed to disinfect (and my virus shield was at Gold anywho).

A Mercury Screensaver would be a great add-on and/or downloadable extra.
Heck, it'd be cool if the next game had a 'screensaver' while you were in the computer and idle long enough.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

cool idea....
BTW: I'd really love to do an "Arcade TRON" mod with this engine, but Tanks will be a prob. since (those of you who played the game knows why). But I'd still like to try it...
If I ever get around to it, I'll see what I can do... and if (the keyword is IF) I do, I may need some help.... If I do, I'll be asking for some help here... at this site... Otherwise, I'll be drinking a Sark's Brew in the status bar still dreaming...
Awsome game... Great engine.... Great work (for the dev. team). |

*eyes the programs*
How is it possible to get a game early and beat it so quickly...?
How could you guys have that *much* free time? I know I won't have much of free time especially with school which just now started.
But I suppose I'll be spending a lot of my MWF's working on the game once I acquire it. Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

1. I think I beat it so quickly BECAUSE classes were starting (classes start today) and I wanted to get it done before class consumed my time.

Wow, you blew through that pretty quickly. Now go back and check out the little things that make the game a living and breathing world. I can't believe you only took 20-25 hours (and what did you do? Sit down during the entire weekend and do nothing else? If you did, that shows great dedication. )
Hmm...what's next? A MMRPG?
