What must I do to "protect Ma3a" in the fight with Thorne & Co. in the Progress Bar?

Destroy all corrupt programs and attack Thorne as he forms that huge ball of energy. That is the only time I ahve observed that he can be hurt. Continue this until the time runs out, then MA3A takes over...

Thats it in a nutshell...
You'll see Thorne move his arms in 2 to 3 motions... One is when he summons infected progs...
Another is when his arms are trying to form an engery to hit Ma3a (this is when you attack)...
He'll take several hits...
So, watch for him... watch for the infected progs. ....
watch your ass...
and you'll get him...
This is a cool part in the game...

I must have played this game a million times since I bought it... I love it... It's rare to find a game that is this fun (ofcourse being a huge fan help  ).
The replay value is amazing...
