The second seeker battle is pretty hard. Here's how I did it.
First, stay on the platform you're on when you start the level, for a little while. Select the ball primitive, and let the Seeker have it. All the versions of the ball primitive work best, on the Seeker. Dodge the Seeker's shots, as necessary.
When the Data Wraiths show up, drop down to the lower level. Switch to the Mesh Blaster. This is the only time I found the Blaster really useful. Hide behind the blocks as necessary to avoid getting hit, and use the patch routines to restore energy and health.
When your health and energy are okay, step out into the open, and use the Blaster on the Seeker. If Data Wraiths attack you, turn your attention to them and blast them, then return to the Seeker. Try not to let the Wraiths distract you too much. Make sure you're using the profiler subroutine (a mistake I made in the beginning), to figure out how much longer until the Seeker will be defeated.
I recommended switching to the Blaster, because it seems rather effective on the Seeker, and because the other weapons are usually too slow to take out the Data Wraiths. Not to mention, a ball primitive hitting a Wraith at close range will hurt you, too.

Is that the level with the weird-ass circular jumping platform that leads to the 3 Bits you activate to turn off the comm-tower?
When you come across, it might take a moment or two, but the other friendly Program there will activate the bridge leading right at the T-junction coming back from the deactivated comm-tower. ----------------------------

On the second seeker battle, there is a safe spot on the far right side of the area, as you face away from the entrance. There is an infinite energy routine there behind a bunch of cubes. I was able to just stay there and lean out to hit the Seeker, and the DataWraiths never even bothered me.

Thx Syntax, it was the level where the bridges extend themselves. Got it eventually. I'm having another problem, this one in the power ups:

Hey... Has any one found all 100 upgrades??? If so, is there an extended ending????
I found 98 and I'm going through it again...
Just wondering??
I finished with all 100. I did it on my first go so if there's an extended ending I'm not aware of it... I do know I want some questions answered, hopefully in a sequel.
Final version for Jet was 9.8.3
There's a 68.71% chance you're right.
-I'm on the City Hub level which states that their ar 5 power ups, however I can only find 4. I've played this level several times and can only find 3 on the upper level and 1 on the lower level....
Also, they do not appear to show up in the same place if you replay the level.
The first 1 I find right where you start off the level. The next one is usually by the data bin once you cross over on the platform. And the last one on the upper level is usually somewhere around the towers (next to the power and life recharges or front side of the towers). Finally the corruption shows, the ICP arrive 2 minutes later and I'm on my way to the lower level. There are no power-up near the Progress Bar, the only one on the lower level is near the I/O node you use to contact guest (Its either in the alcove hiding the infinite Power recharge or the orange alcove just above it..... Does anyone have a clue as to where that 5th power up is? Thanks!

Syntax Wrote:Here's a copy-paste from another thread where I answered the exact same question:
After that, switch on the oculus, and then Ma3a tells you to get up topside and help her, because ICPs are on the way. Take the elevator back up (remember, the one you rode DOWN to get to the oculus controls? Yeah, I kept looking for an IP port for like.. 20 minutes, until I remembered that I'd taken an elevator down), and Ma3a opens up an IP port to an upper balcony, where you must defend her against a long wave of ICPs. My recommendation: equip the LOL and snipe. When you get a break between waves (note: the first wave consists of FOUR ICPs, not just two - two come up the stairs on the right, two rush Ma3a on the ramp on the left), recharge your energy, and get back to sniping.
When the counter nears zero, you'll have an impossible number of ICPs to kill - so long as no ICPs reach Ma3a, she will kill the rest when the counter hits zero. I was seriously scared that I'd failed the mission when like.. 3 ICPs were *right on top of her* as the counter ran out. |
LOL? Bah.. to much trouble. go with a area effect weapon. Ball Launcher even at Beta it was a oneshot kill weapon. and if you miss one... the guy behind him was likley to eat it.

First Seeker:
The Disc plus the Corrosion subroutine worked quite well on the first seeker. Corrosion quickly became one of my must-have subroutines.
Second Seeker:
I made my way to the same spot Olorin wrote about a few posts up, and used the Energy Claw subroutine in conjunction with the Corrosion and MegaHurtz subroutines to take out the second Seeker and all of the Data Wraiths that tried to take me out while I fought the Seeker.
The Energy Claw is a fun weapon! It has a kind of "Dark side of the Force" vibe to it when you use it. I was able to take out two Data Wraiths at a time with the Energy Claw if they were next to each other.
Syntax asked about the value of the Triangulation subroutine:
Triangulation is a great subroutine; at the gold level Triangulation gives you 3X zoom, while the LOL has only 1X zoom. Use the LOL with a gold Triangulation loaded and you can take out enemies at a much greater range and therefore take them out with less risk to yourself.
In the case of the level where you must protect Ma3a from the ICP Guards, the gold Triangulation subroutine plus the LOL lets you take out most of the ICPs long before they get to the ramp that leads to Ma3a.
