Did you drag it into the right tool, though. I found that the Defrag and the Virus Cleaner can be confuzzled at first before you get comfortable with them.
Defrag is at the bottom, virus-sweep is on the right, correct? Or at least that's the impression I got when I held TAB and it would give me the popup-hint about each one. The one on the right is labelled as the virus-sweep.

You also need to leave the screen to let it do it's job.
Well, I never even got any indication that it was working. It also says "Press F1 to start cleaning", and pressing F1 simply takes you out of the subroutine menu. I got really confused.

Yeah, becasue the game is paused when you're in your config screen. So when you press F1, you exit out and continue the game, and start the process.

Good call, Dave (of course). I had forgotten about that.

Okay. That isn't made clear in the game at all. I mean, I can't even drag things onto the virus-sweep icon (the one on the right, correct?), so I had no idea anything was happening. And then I'd try to go back into the Subroutines menu to see if stuff is working, and I'd have no idea if it was doing anything at all. Needless to say, it was frustrating, so I simply avoided downloading corrupted data (since most of it was unnecessary scripts or programs I wasn't going to use anyway).

Seriously, I'm doing something wrong. I just beat the demo (again, this time on Hard difficulty) and I couldn't get the thing to work.
Could someone give me step-by-step instructions as if I were a complete idiot (and believe me, I feel like one right now ) listing exactly what corrupted file you scanned (and where you found it in the demo), and exactly what you did to scan it?

Oh nos! You've found that a subroutine is corrupted with a virus! What to do??

1. Press F1
2. Click on and drag the corrupted subroutine to the upper-right corner that has the Virus Cleaner.
3. Press the F1 key again to exit.

Remember that depending on how many subroutines are infected the infection spreads. Best to get viruses cleaned early!

I take pills to get rid of my viruses... lol (very bad joke)...

My question is, does Jet turn green when everything is infected or does it only effect subroutines????

Or did someone else ask that same question and I missed their post???where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Hmm... okay... I tried that - I'm not even getting an indication that the Virus Cleaner is doing anything - I can look at it (by holding TAB) and it still says "Idle".

Yeah. I'm all confused.
I mean, luckily the virus-checker isn't a vital aspect of completing the demo. I'm just worried about what'll happen when it comes time to use it in the full version of the game (which I CANNOT wait to purchase, by the way ).

I've ran into that same subroutine in the demo. Not sure if it was from the bins or accidental experiment with the codes. x.xorder abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

In the SP demo, there's a corrupted subroutine up near the bridge where you encounter the second set of ICPs. If you download the virus scanner program in the first box at the beginning of the level and initiate it, it'll automatically remove the cooruption as you download. There are also corrupted subroutines in the boxes near the first mooring app, in the room right before the gold civilian.

The Clu abides, man...

Is that what's happening to you, Syntax? Are you D/Ling the file only to have your Virus Scanner subroutine clean it on the way down?

Maybe... I really have no way to check. But yeah, I've been downloading the Virus Scanner up near the bridge (which is labelled "corrupted"), and then the two files near the first Mooring App are also labelled "corrupted". I couldn't tell if it was still corrupted, so I had no idea if the virus-check was working. I mean, I'd think the virus-checker would at least give me some kind of message like "the file you wish to scan is not corrupted" or something...

Hmm, you may have replaced your good virus scanner subroutine with an infected one, which would explain why it's not working? Just a guess.

Well it would stop the working of the virus scanner but not the virus cleaner from working. I guess I'm going to have to D/L the demo to take a look at it. abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Ok, here's how this works:

You've got the outer ring of three sections with labels in them (like weapons 'n stuff). Those are INACTIVE subroutines. Then you've got the inner ring with ACTIVE subroutines.

THEN you have three things at three opposite points in the outer ring that are... functions? Anywho, they're DIFFERENT from subroutines.

Step 1: Find a corrupted subroutine. Do not download it yet.
Step 2: Make sure that you DO NOT have an ACTIVE subroutine dealing with virus scanning. If you do, inactivate it by dragging it to the outer ring. This is the step that makes you vulnerable to downloading corrupted subroutines. If you have it active, it cleans infected subroutines INSTANTLY when you download them.
Step 3: Download the infected subroutine.
Step 4: Drag said routine (it should look different from a clean one) to the blue circle (function) in the upper left that is labeled as the virus cleaner.
Step 5: Go back to playing the game. Later, you should recieve a message saying the subroutine has been cleaned.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion
