Hmm...2x-click the volume Icon and make sure that the sliders are all up.

Go into the Diag and mess with the Hardware Acceleration for the Sound.

Make sure that the card is using the regular output and not the digital output.

Hit the computer very very hard with a mallet.

How about checking up for patches for direct X 9 version b. from Microsoft. THat is what I am doing right now over here. ANd my last update was about 2 days ago for something completely different. Just thought to put that in as for any missing patches from Microsoft. I know sometimes it can be related with the drivers from lets say in this case like your sound card from SB. But sometimes it might be a patch from something else that might do the job.

Was there any settings that you may have missed in the configuration on the game itself for your cound card. Like the when your in Quake as an example. There is a panel where you can adjust the music volume and the FX volume.

Its just a thought to see if they have it in there. and thats another idea to try out.

BVG has email tech support for the demo. E-mail can be sent to demo@tron20.net. When sending e-mail please include a complete description of the issue you are experiencing along with a copy of the dxdiag from the system you are writing about. It is best if you copy and paste the dxdiag into the body of the e-mail. You can obtain your dxdiag by following these instructions.

1. Click on Start and then Run.
2. Type in DIAG and click on "OK"
3. At the bottom of the Diag window click on "Save All Information"
4. Using the "Save As" dialog box that appears save the file in a place you can easily access it later.
5. Open the text file you saved in step 4 and copy and paste all of the text into an e-mail message addressed to demo@tron20.net

They are stupidly cheap now, you can get a 6 channel non-name with hardware graphic and 5.1 support for like, $20.

you would not belive it, i got it working..lol it was the most stupid thing ever, had to install ace mega codecs, then go on control panel, use the directx.exe, << didnt even know where was one, not dxdiag.

click on sound and change my primary sound drivers, was 2 of em, was set on my on board sound, for some weird reason even tho is was disabled, reason why i had no audio, so changed em to my SB card,uninstalled the codec and wooty sound!! YaY!!

Like i said not to hard....:P
