I remember reading this up directly with Tron20.net. I think it was in design with the game itself. I do not know more than that. But who know. She might still be in teh sequel movie of tron 2.0. There was no reason given elsewhere on the net other than what was on Tron20.net there.

I'd heard something to that effect, about Alan's wife being dead. ASSUMING that Lora was Alan's wife (has it been said yet if she really was?), I wonder if it has something to do with why Ma3a has the same voice as Lora.

I think its only the guys in the red Shirts On Star Trek. I think they were the expendable Crew members from the show. Besides the regular characters that we loved from the show. They were not expendable.

Well this is sposed to be about Tron, but I have to butt in here about Star Trek
Tasha Yar - a MAJOR character was killed by the sqidgey mud monster who didnt want to be alone.
DATA ff sake died in the last movie!
I guess its all about actors wanting to do other stuff.
Mind you, I do acknowledge the clauses in those deaths i.e the same actor reappeared much later as a Romulan, and in the same movie data's brother was still left around.
er... what was the original topic about?

I am not really talking about the game. Just making a point about worlds like this. All of the characters noted above in Star Trek have been brought back to life numerous times. Who's to say that can't happen in the TRON world too? Nothing is certain right?

Good point...
How I look at it is that the game is the sequal story to TRON... If a movie is to be produced, it should either be the same story of the game or a story that picks up where the game ends...
But I could most-likely be wrong... Just a thought nonetheless.

The movies not a done deal either so lets ALL BUY THE GAME to show how popular it still is, then they'll see the $$ vaule of the Tron genre and make a good movie.
Hurry up Disney before you get bought out by AOL!
