I say go for it I would love to see the original cast back in there including Jeff bridges in Tron 2.0. And a new set of programmers for the younger audience to go on fro them. ANd the original cast for the older ones here to enjoy as well.

Now hold on, everybody. Let's not have a sequel for the sake of having a sequel. If there's a good story and if it can be made to dovetail with the original but stand on it's own, etc., then let's get that Green Light. If we're going to slap together some CGI and a slapdash script just to placate our desire to return to the Digital World then we're going to be disappointed and disillusioned with the  universe.

SCSI. Its not that. I think that Tron needs a sequel. Just for a sake that it is a classical film. And I think that in todays generation. I think that there should be a sequel with the game that is coming out on the 26th of next Month. And its about over due for one. And I don't think it shuld be a quick one just for the sake of it like you said.. But a high quality one like the classical but more up to date with the times. But that is just me over here.

If Tron the original movie was made today instead of the 1980's, it would have been written automatically with the expectation of a sequel, don't you think. For instance, look at Tomb Raider, Shrek, Spiderman. For pete's sake, we all know tomb raider didn't really deserve a sequel, but the audience is there for Angelina Jolie, look at Jeff Bridges, he's a well respected actor in Hollywood, with that Star Power, Tron 2.0 deserves a shot if and only if, in my opinion there is a compelling/adventerous story that will keep you in your seat.
What would be cool if a large special effects company like ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) or a similiar company along those line would get involved so we are guaranteed there won't be any cartoon drawings and the like.
Personally I would see the movie no matter what, just as long Flynn makes a showing  where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

How about making the next film a sequel to both the original movie AND the game???
Work elements of Jet's adventure into the movie! Let him be one of the main characters!!!

Totally! It'd be a somewhat wasted copyright without another movie Sure, the video games and everything else is nothing short of spectacular... but the true icing on the cake would be another movie.
*sigh* I hope it another one comes while I'm still fairly young

I was instantly hooked on Tron as a boy ( 9 Years Old) when it first came out in the Theaters, I went every time it was released, and rereleased, Tron is My #1 Disney Movie, I also Like The Black Hole, But Tron is #1, I always wanted a Tron Sequal , I love Widescreen movies and when I heard that Tron was coming out on DVD in the 20th Anniversary edition I knew I had to get it, and the Soundtrack, I wish Disney would do a sequal to tron but not based on the new Tron 2.0 game, there is plenty of computer stuff out there to used like Virus's, Trons A secrity Program, and Virus's are secrity risk, I had also thought we could see more of Flynn as the Boss of ENCOM, talking with Alan, and Lora about his adventures in the Game World, or have Dillinger break into ENCOM and enter the computer world the same way Flynn did in Tron, and wreak some havic like shutting down Systems, or Create Computer Virus's from within the computer world, where Flynn would have to go back in to stop Dillinger, and maybe have Alan go in with Flynn, the Storylines are endless!!!

Accually the sequal would'nt be right after the ending of the first TRON movie it would be set in the present time, with the Original actors, and actoreses, and it would work!!!!!!
