Cool, more  goodness! And there's a part two to this article coming soon! There hasn't been too much new stuff about the game for a while. That will probably change, with E3 around the corner.
Glad to see the author is really stoked about the game.
Best of all, the game has moved from Alpha to Beta status. So now the development team has about two months to polish the game.

I think 's only real competition is Half-Life 2. It's the only other game that will have a deep story, and superior enemy A.I. All the rest of the games are eye-candy. That includes Doom III, of course.
I really believe will have a serious shot at Game of the Year. It deserves it, and Monolith deserves it! Monolith has come such a long way these last few years.
EDIT: Hey, guess what? I found another preview, with three new screenshots!
