Hehehe, you guys crack me up.
I'm not much into RTS games, so I can't help you there, really. But if I were to play that type of game, I would probably pick up Age of Mythology or C&C: Generals.
For FPS games, I would definitely recommend NOLF2. (Despite all the problems I had with it.) Or, even better, pick up NOLF1 if you don't already have it. The Game of the Year edition can be picked up pretty cheap these days.
I think Deus Ex, if you haven't already played it, could be a good choice. I picked it up a while ago, but haven't played it yet. It's supposed to be very good, and should have gameplay similar to

.
Everyone is raving about Splinter Cell these days. It does look good, I must say.
If you feel like some "retro" gaming, maybe you should check out http://www.tierraentertainment.com. They've made remakes of Sierra's King's Quest I and II. I already played them, and thought they were VERY GOOD! They also have links to other remakes, including ones for Space Quest.
