Long time no see/chat.
It's been many cycles since I was last on here.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Anyone else excited for TR3N: Ares?
I'm currently listening to a leak of the NIN soundtrack. I'm digging it so far

Hello,
Its been ages since I've posted here as well. I was curious if there is anything going on for the new Tron: Ares film similar to the Arcade Aid Flynn Lives ARG that was going to promote Tron: Legacy. I really enjoyed the pins, tokens, posters, badges, postcards, etc. It was a lot of fun and I felt helped to build a lot of excitement for the film. If so could someone point me in the correct direction?

I feel like we were all very *very* spoiled in the year leading up to and coming off of Legacy's release in theaters. The ARG, just about any and all kinds of merch you can imagine, 4 separate videogames.. for Ares we've got a Fortnite cosmetics pack, some Hot Topic shirts, and a $75 light-up popcorn bucket.
Regardless, I think it's exciting to have a new Tron movie to talk about, and it feels nice to be participating in discussions here again. I got Tron 2.0 running on my computer last night with the unofficial patch, the Killer App mod, and the custom map pack, brought back a LOT of very good memories.

I spotted that there seemed to be more promotion in Japan, they had what appeared to be lighted desk pads, wireless chargers, notebooks, hats, a black and red jacket, and keychains. Still nothing in comparison to what was done for Legacy, but more than I saw in the US for Ares.
I found it all in a VR Chat world seemingly sponsored by Disney, promoting the Disney Studio Japan X/Twitter account, and another company Virtual Market. All the items seemed to be tied to giveaways, so I am not sure if there is anyway to buy them if you don't win them, and I've not seen things quite like them in the brief searching I have done.
I've got screenshots of the world and the merch advertised if anyone is interested in them, let me know and i will put forth the effort to post them here. If you can/want to see it yourself, the world will apparently only be live until October 31. It was a pretty cool world with photo ops, and disc battle arena that apparently works, along with screens that play the various trailers when you walk up to them.
