i needed automated mask generation with tracking points. At that time vegas pro had only manual approack where you had to make every point yourself. Hitfilm offered automated tracking for mask creacion which made a huge time saver.

Cool. That's fine. I may check out the program you used, especially since the tracking/keyframing part sounds easier.
