That was awesome.
What I loved most about that game was the cosmetics, seeing it from afar in the bowling alley all lit up. This was years after the movie came out, people rarely played it. It felt special to play that game, the sounds and that gorgeous controller that lit up like the movie.
Spent way too much time on that, Altered Beast and Dragon's Lair as a kid.

Had to add, I kept watching and they you started talking about Jetfire.
I used to kitbash old Jetfires I got from ebay and turned them into Max, Miriya and other variants. I'd buy the second hand Korean knock offs for parts too, since they didn't always have the cockpit shields. That way I could use J and A heads (the As were my favorite).
