I've had the itch to open an identical 80's/90's arcade/bar names Flynn's arcade. Would that even be possible or would that be some kind of copyright infringement?order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I'm not sure. I do see tons of "Cheers" bars that even use the logo from the show.
It's prolly a question you would want to ask a legal professional.

Really it would depend on whether Disney found out, eh? Depends on whether you'd want to risk it. The real question is whether you'd get a simple "cease and desist" and would have to change the name, or whether there might be actual legal action.
My guess is that Disney would not be amused. They seem pretty jealous of their brands, from what little I've heard. (How they would take it might, I would think, depend on whether you also tried to make it Tron-themed? Is that what you mean by "identical"?) But I would think your first step would be to find out whether the name is copyrighted at all.
What do you want? I'm busy.

Not just the name, but also the establishment concept. IP can be pretty tricky sometimes. If you create a business similar, but not exact, then Disney can't really get you.
For example, you could probably use a font or style similar to Flynn's, but different enough, with elements that are not in the original, then what you create is considered a derivative but not a copy.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

True, but the question is whether they could still come after you for a derivative, for making money from their idea, essentially.
And, of course, what they couldn't do through legal means might yet be accomplished by bad press. A crapshoot: it may well generate more positive publicity than negative (if enough people either decide Disney's in the wrong and make it a point of patronizing the establishment, or if they simply don't care one way or the other but its existence is brought to their attention and they go).

All legal actions like this must start with a cease and desist. My other ride is a Light Cycle. |

I also had thought about the possibility of opening a "Flynn's Arcade" as a bar. I'm afraid the risk isn't worth it....if Disney found out, then they certainly would act. They had a Flynn's Arcade as well as The End of Line club at Disneyland as an attraction.....they are both certainly copyrighted, I would assume.
Your best bet is to create a similar concept that everyone knows is an homage to Flynn's w/out actually naming it Flynn's Arcade. I used to work at Outback Steakhouse and not many people realize that the restaurant chain was created due to the popularity of the Crocodile Dundee movies. Heck, the restaurant I worked in even had pictures of scenes from the movie.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Using a person's likeness in an establishment that makes money is not legal. I can't remember which celebrity, but some restaurant had a picture of them up on the wall as someone that had visited, and they got sued and lost back in the 80s. I'm not sure how that applies to a fake "brand" like that. But with Disney involved, who knows. They certainly haven't put the smackdown on all people selling "FLYNN LIVES" shirts all over the net.
