A year ago we were teased by eFX with this prototype of the helmet
and just recently the artist, Jay Kushwara who digitally created the helmet updated his website with some renders

The helmet is awesome but seems to be in limbo with the way eFX is being handled right now. Even with their largest license, Star Wars, they are failing with quality control, shipment times and replacements due to quality.
I would think that they have a Golden opportunity to sell these helmets during the 30th Anniversary year.

I'm at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando right now and I got to speak with Jorge of eFX about the Helmet and he confirmed that it will not be produced. He didn't give a reason why, just that it was a project that was dead in the water.
