Easter Egg in Motorbikes in Mazes

Well has anyone spotted the easter-egg in the "Motorbikes in Mazes" sequence (light-cycles)? A clue: Its right at the end of the youtube clip and you can see it as well as hear it! Good Luck.....!

Nah, it's pretty widely recognized, as can be seen from this thread.

It's not very subtle; Pac-Man was well-known and popular in 1982. The sound effect ("wakawakawaka") was immediately recognizable to the audience when the movie was released. There was a communal laugh in the theater I was in when I saw it, because everyone got the joke.

No reason was ever give to the best of my knowledge, but my guess is that they had licensed the use of the character and sound effects from the game from Midway, who was the US distributor of the game at the time. Midway went out of business a year or so ago, which would mean that Disney would have had to re-obtain the character/sound rights from Namco, the original developers and current rights-holders.
