Posts: 10 | Pictures of Flynn's House (Real World) and Archictecture? on Sunday, November, 27, 2011 6:07 PM
Hey guys, I'm looking for this artwork in a higher resolution:
http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles5/151161/projects/951935/2e42b5bfd84e869683c05af3cd8c33c1.jpg
(or a nice hd screencap of the front of the house from the movie, if that is not found)
and also an architectural layout of the house, like this:
http://www.apartmentsinteriordesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Sketch-Architecture-Home-Plans-2-Floor.jpg
Can anyone help me out? I've been searching with no luck. I saw a partial architectural layout in the Disney Second Screen, but can't seem to find a full one (perhaps there is a full one located within the Flynn Lives campaign material that was unlocked?). And surely a higher-res screenshot of the concept art of Kevin Flynn's house exists?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows where to find the things I'm talking about easily, that would be awesome. I am doing a school project on building a dream house, and I'd like to model it off of the one from Tron.
Thank you!

Ok, I took a screenshot from my iPad of the concept art of Flynn's house, and the resolution works fine. I just need the floor plan of the house, if anyone can locate that.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

It's possible that they built a facade with only the living room and Sam's bedroom as on-location sets (for the nighttime and daytime scenes), or they somehow managed to enhance the facade through digital technology to combine the outside facade with the in-studio interiors of the rooms (as the night scene at the beginning seems more like an in-studio set) and somehow blended them together to where they seem seamless), or they shot the night and day scenes in-studio, and created a portion of Sam's room at the location to shoot the shots of him sitting at the window.
So, it's possible that it's just a facade they made. Most TV shows and movies actually utilize this technique, the most iconic one I can think of is the Bates Mansion and Motel from the Psycho film series. And it's possible that after the production was done, they took it down.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Yes yes, I'm aware of that. >_> I'm actually asking if anyone knows for certain if they *did* build it for real, if even inside a studio.

They may have just used an existing structure and replicated parts of it in-studio-- or, simply made them up since they probably wouldn't need to keep entirely true to the actual layout of the real building-- we don't see more of it than the front, after all, so who knows what it might be like inside.
(Anybody else find it a little strange that there's a door to the outside FROM Sam's bedroom? Heh, bet that came in handy when he was a teenager and wanted to sneak out... I wonder if he still owns that house. I can't see anyone selling it since really no one KNOWS Flynn is gone for good. Alan especially probably would've put up a stink. [I'm not even sure if they legally could. I suppose if Flynn is declared legally dead, it would become Sam's and his grandparents could sell it?])order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I don't think any floorplans of Flynn's house actually exist. At least not publicly. There may be some internal documents and whatnot, but unless you work at Disney or have connections, you're gonna have to draw your own.
If that ends up being the case, I'd recommend checking out Tron: Betrayal (either the graphic novel or issue 2 of the comic books), since it details some more sections of the house. Also, you should probably already know this, but the movie also shows some sections of the house other than Sam's room.
Hope that helps! order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

The fly-in shot at the beginning is quite revealing, since the facade is largely transparent and it's quite an open plan. Honestly one of the few memorable houses I've seen in movies - something just feels right about it.

Yeah I noticed that too xD Probably not too comfortable in the colder months, either. I wonder if the detached state of his room bears any symbolic significance in Kosinski's mind...

Sweet. The house vaguely resembles a recognizer in shape, and the motorcycle looks like a guy riding on a lightcycle, with him hunched over; his head being the headlight and torso being the gas tank.
I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

I really liked it, too. Though, even with the windows we only see the front rooms-- which seem to be Sam's room and the living room. Do we get any inkling of how far back it goes, etc.?

Well, I don't imagine CA gets all that cold. When I think of "uncomfortable in cold," I think about how it will feel when it's 20 degrees out. Probably doesn't happen in the LA area. Might be difficult for air conditioning, though, esp. if the house faces east or west and has the sun beating in. Not a lot of privacy, either, though I imagine they must have curtains.
I don't feel like Sam's room is all that detached, though.

They are, though there's a bit of confusion there. These seem to be his dad's parents, whereas in Betrayal it seems to be his mom's parents who are caring for him. Or maybe they just take turns (because each story seems to totally forget about the other set). Or maybe it's just one of those discrepancies. But remember, Sam's grandpa dies when he's 11, but his grandma doesn't die until he's 17. Plenty of time for them to sell the house, or for him to do so after he turns 18 if they don't want to sell it. I don't know how many years a person has to be missing with no leads to be declared legally dead-- if indeed this is what happened to Flynn; for all we know he may simply still be considered missing. I could see Sam keeping it, esp. if encouraged by Alan, and he just doesn't live there himself (or maybe rents it out)... it's just not mentioned one way or the other.

Or maybe Sam sold the house, and a non-profit purchased it and is allowing a newbie programmer live in it for a limited time to get the "Flynn inspiration". I know that 1418½ Clouser Avenue in the College Park section of Orlando, Florida was where Jack Kerouac stayed when he wrote The Dharma Bums. Due to the popularity of Kerouac, a non-profit group called The Jack Kerouac Writers in Residence Project of Orlando, Inc. provides opportunities for aspiring writers to live in the same house in which Kerouac was a resident (where he found inspiration and composed the work), with room and board covered for three months. It could very well be the same sort of thing happened with the house.
The only other option is that Alan and Lora bought the house and Jet currently lives there since he started college (but then again, we really don't know if Jet will exist in the film versions of the TRON story, but there's always the possibility).

Thanks! I did great on it. I just used the facade floorplan and made up the rest of the house.
