But why bother watching it on crappy quality cable when you can have it on blu-ray?

But why bother watching it on crappy quality cable when you can have it on blu-ray?  |
Some of the viewing public out there might not have access to a blu-ray player. Plus, there may be others who didn't see the movie in the theater and want to peek at it on cable before making the decision to buy it or skip it.

I agree with you, I was trying to be funny. I think it's great that cable is picking it up. I think a lot of people never went to see the movie or bought the disc so hopefully this will just add to the fanbase. I hope a lot of people get it on on-demand so that Disney will be motivated to make sequels and other related media.

A co-worker of mine had stated he would never watch Tron:Legacy. He was channel surfing and came across it, so he started watching. He missed the first 15 minutes, but the next day he comes in asking me all kinds of questions(Who was Tron, what happened to Flynn, etc.). Funny how a cool movie works on your mind.
