I'm not sure if anyone has made this kind of thread, given that the Search function on the site doesn't appear to work at the moment (clicking on the Search button takes me to the main page that displays the various forums).
In any case, the pictures are below... neat to see the various generations all in one picture...
Red and Yellow Light Cycles - Tomy Japan
(Note: The Yellow Tomy cycle was my very first cycle that I got in 1982 at the age of 8... you can see the "battle scars" from constant playing... my favorite toy of all time.
)
Blue Light Cycle - NECA China
White Light Cycle - Spinmaster
Green "Laser" Cycle - Toy City knockoff Tron Light Cycle with the black ripcord that is extremely brittle... bought a second Toy City cycle in blue for my daughter and the moment I stuck the black ripcord into the rear wheel opening the ripcord snapped to pieces. Even the Tomy ripcord that came with the red cycle I bought recently was brittle and snapped... is there a way to make the ripcord less likely to break (maybe coating the ripcord in vaseline to make it more flexible?)
Regarding the "red" Tomy cycle here... it seems more orange than red. I actually have a second "red" Tomy cycle and it too looks orange... they should have called it the orange light cycle.
