This makes sense to me. Now, I don't know much about Disney/Disneyworld/Disneyland (I haven't watched many Disney movies since I was a kid, and I've never been to either theme park), so bear with me if I'm just totally clueless here. But what is Starcade? Does that really have anything to do with any Disney movies, or is it just something they came up with? Not a movie tie in, as much as it is a themed thing.

It's in Tomorrowland near Star Tours and the exit to Space Mountain, so really it's just a "Theme". It's mostly a gift shop now anyway,

You're right that Flynn's was a 80's theme arcade... filled with games from that era.. And its just not like that now a days..Guess its been a while since I've been in an arcade... (the 80's!!)

A slight refresh... Does that mean they're changing anything? Or just time off. This does explain how FlynnOne heard it was ending this weekend. Glad it's staying for a while. I hope to see it.

hopefully this "slighty refresh" will have the theatre replace the Tron Legacy trailer with a "Tron: Uprising" trailer in 3-D, and hopefully they'll get a DJ that plays Industrial, Industrial-electronica, and music from Kraftwork, Crystal Method, more Daft Punk music from The Knife (whom are awesome), the generic Pop-music House mixes some of the Dj's play is really "meh" IMO.

But It would be horrible if ElecTRONica is replaced with some lame Alice in Wonderland themed crap. ElecTRONica has raked in *a lot* revenue that it makes no sense to replace it with some wierd, cutesy Alice themed stuff.

It is kinda. People dance around to a live DJ and there's flashing lights and stuff everywhere. But there's a lot of security and entertainers in that area, too.

Wasn't saying anything except that the place had some recent publicity. Just adding news that had to do with the place. Yep, if it had been me, one whomp upside the head, if not a knee to the groin would have taken care of that.

Agreed. I was there this past labor day weekend & man was it a wreck. DCA is more of a maze now than what it was before. To get to flynns arcade however is a bit of a chore now (well for those who are now going that is with all the remodeling going on) The time frame was stil the same 6-10 fri-sun. I am however curious as to how this refresh will make it any different though I have a feeling they may do some sort of preview update for tron uprising. Again key word maybe. if it changes for the better than I will visit again before the end of the year otherwise if the change is simply aesthetics then I don't know why they even bothered closing it temporarily. That will have to wait till next time.
