A sequel was assumed anyway and that happens often with films that can be considered hits, although where T:L is concerned, you hear different things. But lately, studios are so spooked with big budgets and resulting flops, that several films have been backburnered or dumped altogether. I am hoping T:L 2 won't be. The bit about there being no T:L 3 may be premature, if we can get the second (or third if you see it that way) to be a big hit.
Forget it, Mr High and Mighty Master Control. You aren't making me talk.

There will definitely be a Tron 3. If I recall correctly, Disney had previously signed Joe Kosinski on to direct two more movies. The two movies would depend on how well Tron Legacy did at the box office. If it succeeded (and it did), he was to make two more Tron movies. Otherwise, he was to direct a remake of The Black Hole and a completely original film of his called Oblivion.
I am assuming he'll end up doing the remake and Oblivion after his third Tron film.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Has much has I love this franchise, to be honest, the only thing that worries me is how they are going to do the story.
Both films have used the same basic premise-a User gets beamed into the computor world by a laser, has many adventures, defeats the evil Bad Guy & gets home via the laser.
The thing is, they've already done this premise TWICE so far in both films, so I don't think they would want to do that plot again. :P
I think if it was up to me, I would try and write a story where events in BOTH worlds would have an impact on each other (i.e have TWO storylines-one in the Tron universe, one in the Real world, probably the Encom company-and have both storylines running parrell to each other).abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

When he says it's a "done" deal, he's referring to the fan asking him "if they called you, would you." In other words, Boxleitner has a sequel clause in his contract, meaning no negotiation will take place to put him in another in the series. It was a "done deal" long before T:L went into production.
You guys keep using this word "confirmed". When it comes to the film industry, it doesn't mean what you think it means. Nothing is "confirmed" until the budget it signed off on on the first day of shooting. Remember, they were already building sets for Gore Verbinski's BioShock movie when that project fell apart. Same for Guillermo Del Toro's Hobbit films, which were saved by Peter Jackson taking over at the last minute.

Except he said he believed it will be released by 2013, I know what you're saying it is still very early days yet and movied have been canceled when they are almost complete or even when they HAVE been completed but the studios believe that the movie isn't worth releasing as it wouldn't even make back advertisement costs.

Still think Disney is making Tron: Uprising a priority right now. Didn't hear very much new information, about Uprising, from any Disney D23 web news. I was very disapointed. Anyway, here is an interview, with the original writers, I found on the web. By the way, I really do believe Disney does see a future for the Tron Franchise. I think they just want to make all the right steps, like toys that can actually be played with. We shall see.

The latest I heard was that they had hired someone to write Tron 3. (Though not the same writers as did Legacy, because they are doing another project right now) As for the director, Joseph Kosinski, said he would do it, if they got a script together that he liked.
I am not too concerned with where they will go with the script. I had heard that it would definately have Dillinger Jr. as the bad guy in this one. But Kosinski said that it will be moving in the direction with Sam and Quorra, that their story line is the future.
Disney has put a lot of money already into a sequel for Legacy. But I think it all still depends on how Uprising does. They were really hoping to catch the little bit younger audience for the franchise to take off. They are hoping Uprising will do that.
I've also heard that the next film will not cost as much to make as Legacy did. Since now they already have the heavy cost of the development of the special effects out of the way with Legacy. They said the next one would not cost as much to do.

i hope they would change the design direction for the costume and vehicles plus the script writers. I am not sure if joe is the right director as he seems to be very rigid during behind the scenes especially when its steves conception. I do hope he continues the landscape design and action sequence.
I realise that the very first comicon teaser, the suits of the lightcycle riders were of glossy finish and better designed. that and the action sequenced was why we cheered. Then they changed to the rubbery look which cheapen the whole look. sad really, they shouldnt have changed the look. the crowd and me cheered becasue almost all was perfect in that teaser.
For tr3n, Its important we pay homage to the original in terms of vehicle and suits design. unless they can find a better designer. Joe went off tangent with the design making it unnecessarily grittier. and it didnt pay off. You can see from the behind the scenes no one in the production commented how awesome or great it was. If you look at the original Tron making of. steve and another guy commented how great syd and mobius was and the balance it had to the futuristic feel.
For the script, I feel we cant demand too much as its really a difficult storyline to contiunue and the science part is really mind boggling. it should focus more on the entertainment and leave the myth to itself.

FlynnsWrist, just throwing in my opinion that I agreed with the art direction and thought it was a wonderfully apt progression on the original. I actually thought the glossy suits looked cheaper in comparison, and I loved that they hovered somewhere between simulation and utter realism.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
