Yeah; I didn't mean to post that link as "absolute proof" but to point out that there was discussion, that Bruce was filmed letting go of these "spoilers", and that there are high hopes for a sequel. In the end, that means very little, and he admits himself that it's a business so money talks. Cautious optimism is probably the best way to approach this, but it's still optimism. With enough Blurays/DVDs sold and enough fan interest...

Actually in this case, it seems that perhaps outlook is bad for TR3N. Could it be possible Bruce gives away hints for a sequel to get people wanting a sequel because he knows that Disney may not want to continue the series? I would think that he would want to keep a job open for himself with TR3N and knowing how much a fan of the movies he is, he'd probably be sad to see it go also.

Which, as I stated, Disney will only get about half of. Remember, these are GROSS box office receipts, representing just admission sales. Keep in mind that Tron Legacy's net revenue will actually be significantly lower because it is a 3D film. The ticket prices were higher -- by about $3 per ticket -- because people had to buy glasses. None of that money goes to Disney, it stays with the theaters.

In short? Disney will not make enough off of the theatrical release alone to justify another sequel. If you want Tron 3 to happen, you need to buy the DVD and Blu-Ray. You need to download it from the iTunes store. You need to buy the toys for all the kids in your family. And most importantly, DON'T PIRATE IT. Piracy is costing the film industry literally billions in revenue, and is the number one reason they don't make risky films anymore. Everything is pre-manufactured to make most of its money back the first 2 weeks to get ahead of the torrent sites. So if you want movies you want to see, you need to make sure you're part of the solution and not part of the problem.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I think we're going to know more about whether or not this is even a decent possibility after the Bluray/DVD releases--not that that's a guarantee. I'll be curious to know if at any point Disney tries to convince Bruce to stop talking about it so much, though. (I'm sure that would lead to even more speculation.)

Didn't Disney say they weren't making a presense at this years SDCC? So yeah what about the animated series?

It's not like Disney didn't promote it either.Disney spent millions on Tron: Legacy. It just didn't pay off with audiences.

Find the best gifts. For girls, it will be the Fijit Friends. Older people may buy kindle fire. I want tron stuff.

Disney announced a few weeks ago they indeed would be at Comic-Con, but will have a great presence of panels, etc. at their Comic-Con like D23 Expo next month in Anaheim, California (at the convention center right next to Disneyland).

I think a teaser will be released for TR3N this year because when they released a teaser for Tron:Legacy it was 2 years before the film was released and from what I have heard TR3N is going to be released in 2013. 2008 + 2 = 2010. 2011+ 2 = 2013! They should have a teaser for TR3N at this years Comic-Con.

As mentioned before there will be a special preview of TRON Uprising at SD Comic Con 2011!

Disney's Tron: Uprising is indeed coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2011, though not in the way you might think.

The series won't hold its own panel, but rather a special preview of the series will be attached to the panel for Disney 's Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil, which takes place on Saturday, July 23rd from 12-1pm in Room 25ABC.
