Hi all!

This is somewhat TRON related, but I wanted to share this with everyone. Today is my 40th birthday, and after I had arrived at work this morning, my coworkers surprised me with a birthday cake. Actually, the wife of a coworker had baked the cake and decorated it (she's very talented and creative!) in a TRON-inspired theme!

It was a chocolate cake with chocolate icing with thin lines of white and electric blue icing on the top in the style of the identity disc. On one side of the cake, she wrote my name, Marc, in electric blue icing around the side, but it was written in the TRON font! On the other side, she had a "40", but stylized like a light cycle! It looked so awesome!

My coworker had also come over to my desk earlier that morning and taken my Sam Flynn Lightcycle USB drive without me knowing and placed it on top of the cake before they brought it over to my cubicle. The cake looked amazing! I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures of it, but my coworker said his wife had taken pictures of it, so I'll see if I can get copies to post on here. (The cake was also DELICIOUS too!! LOL!)

I thought it was really nice that my coworkers integrated my interest in TRON into celebrating my birthday. I was really surprised! But then again, they see all the TRON-related stuff in my cubicle: the constantly changing TRON: Legacy desktop images, my TRON: Legacy wall calendar, my Sam Flynn Lightcycle USB drive, and so on... and they all joke about it with me good-naturedly. So I guess it's not all that surprising! LOL!

I just thought I'd share that with my fellow Sector-ites. I figured yall would get a kick out of it. I don't hide my love for TRON. It's part of who I am. And I'm glad it was part of my birthday today!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I had a great birthday! I'll definitely see if I can get pictures of the cake from my coworker and post them on here.
