Here is the link to the story. It looks like Disney will be sitting out Comi-Con 2011. I guess there won't be a surprise teaser after all. Disney was expecting Avatar numbers for Tron: Legacy. And, if Tron: Uprising fails to grab an audience, it's all over.

Here's hoping for some good Tron news at D23 expo.

How many films get Avatar numbers? The goal is unrealistic from every film to do as good as the few top films out there. Frankly, I saw Avatar and went "meh". And unlike T:L, subsequent viewings didn't change my mind.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

If Clash of the Titans gets a sequel and Legacy doesn't there is no justice in the world...

I agree, not much to Avatar. However, it did get a rottentomatoes score of around 82%. It also had gobbs of free media advertising. I remember local tv and radio personalities saying things like, "Have you seen Avatar, I'm going this weekend." The next Tron film must have a really strong script and action packed story. I believe David Digilio will deliver what we need.

Have heart, Disney hasn't given up yet. Legacy did very well in the area of special effects, soundtrack, and dvd/blu-ray sales. Could have been better domesticly, in all areas. We have a good chance of a strong third film. R&D and effects costs will be much lower now(no more de-aging) leaving more time and money for story, special effects, and strong character development and dialog, all of David Digilio's strong points.

Disney would not have given the story over to Mr. Digilio if they didn't see a future. Just look at elecTRONica. Disney is making gobbs of money, something they did not expect. From what I hear, they are making 100,000 plus just on drinks. It's also bringing in thousands of people into an area that was just a place to visit. The vendors are pleased. The old timers want it to go away, but if it keep making money it will stay. Don't lose faith.

Let's see what happens at the Disney D23 Expo. We might be surprised. Disney has built a strong franchise. I see the next Tron costing around $150 mil., with an additional 25 mil to market. With a strong script, story, screen play, I can see a $550 mil + worldwide gross without breaking a sweat. Not including sound track and dvd/blu-ray sales. Let.ls just hope for a strong Christmas release, with no blizards or natural disasters. So if Bruce Boxleitner already said that Jeff, Garrett and Olivia have been signed, maybe he means their option has been reserved IN CASE a third film is made?

That's a good bet. I would expect a high residual percentage deal for each, with low initial payout for each. This would keep the cost low. The same was done with the first X-men movie. Keep the faith. I'll say it again we need a great story and a STRONG showing for Tron: Uprising. If wwe start to see syndication, then we're in.

Here's an update on Tron: Uprising. Looks like we will have an animated movie early 2012, with the series in the summer of that year. Let's get some people to Comi-Con 2011(Tron: Uprising will be represented...they say), and Disney D23.

Looks like Disney will not have a panel, for Tron: Uprising, at Comi-Con 2011. The will have a preview of it though.
