Can someone slow the following graphic down. What I'm wondering is that it appears as if Tron grabbed the disc, edge first. How did his hand NOT get derezzed/damaged doing that.
Now this opens up a line of thought. Since the warriors can catch their own disc, does that mean that they have gloves that allow them to catch anyone's disc. Seems like grabbing someone elses disc would be a good strategy, like where they throw and miss and then you run and catch it on its return flight.
Or other thoughts? Discuss.

Well, you can grab the sharp end of a blade without it slicing through your skin. From what I've come to understand, the edge of the disc functions as a blade when it's glowing.

hmm... maybe it's kind of like when your holding the blade of a knife. If you're not pressing on it or having it come at you at a high speed you wouldn't cut yourself.

So if you caught it by the innnr edge, would you be okay?

Probably, since there's no blade there.

But that would be like trying to catch a thrown knife at you by the handle. Possible, but so risky its not worth trying.
You notice Tron doesn't really go very deep with his hits that totally derezz the other program. In fact its almost like he hits them powerfully but pulls back instantly.
Maybe to programs a chest hit would be like cutting someones juglar vein. Programs might be most vulnerable in the chest area, hence the chest plate they wear.

Oh, damn. Most epic gif ever.
I will not allow myself to watch it all night.
It still kills me though that Tron fights Clu and Clu wins. WTF???
Of course, it begs the question: why doesn't Tron just kill him? He goes at the other guys discs blazing without hesitation. He chooses to just tackle Clu, when no doubt he could've easily either crashed him with a disc and de-rezzed him, or probably even thrown from afar since Clu obviously wasn't paying attention. And then once he has him on the ground, he decides to punch him instead of just sending a disc through his face (apparently, unlike Rinzler, Tron will think twice to de-rez your face...).
So why not just kill him outright? (Besides for the obvious reason that that would ruin the rest of the movie.) Does he hesitate to kill someone who was once his friend? Does he want the chance to ask Clu what the hell he's doing? Does he want to make it more personal so Clu know's that he's tromping him rather than just killing Clu without Clu having any idea of what happened?abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Never considered it, but good point. Tron is a thinking program who will not kill without reason, and maybe he wants to secure Clu rather than kill him outright.
Forget it, Mr High and Mighty Master Control. You aren't making me talk.

Tron might have believed it was possible to bring Clu around and get him to see reason. The three of them went back a long way together, so even while the rift between Flynn and Clu was growing, he might have been holding out hope for a solution that didn't end in someone being derezzed.
Another possibility: Maybe he couldn't kill Clu. Not in the sense of Clu being too skilled for Tron to defeat, but literally unkillable, as in 'this is a protected file - it cannot be deleted.' If the file permissions could only be changed from outside the Grid, Clu would be invulnerable to anything short of someone accessing the system from the real world. So reintegration would be the only way to stop him for good from inside, and the best Tron could have hoped to do was to buy Flynn time to escape, which he did.

I think the second one is more likely.

Interesting. What's the flash of light as Tron grabs the disc? Some sort of injury? Disc re-syncing to a new owner? (I would guess not, as it'd probably turn white if that were the case, right?)where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

can't tell if it is an injury.
the lens flare effect occurs even if there is no hit made.
if it's an injury maybe the other program lost a thumb as the disk adapted to

I always wondered how and why he acquired two discs, or why the second one just became his. I think the flashing light might be when it "became" his disc, because the outer circle looks lighter than the middle.

I imagine that once Clu repurposed him, he figured "hey, that was a cool trick" and had Rinzler keep two discs.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill What do you want? I'm busy.

Thanks for slowing it down, now we can see he actually grabbed the inside of the disc. No doubt Tron had built in code to instantly interrogate and take control of other users discs, part of his security algorithms.
