I like the implications of HTML5 site construction, but honestly I just don't see this taking off for graphic novels. I'd rather just read the dang comic without stuff moving around, and it seems like there's too much to put into it...

That's what I was thinking, too. If I wanted moving pictures, I'd watch a show. The whole point of a graphic novel is that...well.... it's a graphic novel. (although from what I saw, I'd term in a "comic book" anyway. It didn't seem as complex as what I'd expect a graphic novel to be, I guess, though I'm not all that familiar with the genre.)
Besides, the thing I still have against ebooks (not the Kindle sort) and suchlike is that...when I read a book, I want to be able to sit on the couch, or my bed, or in the bath, or on the beach, or in my yard, or while I'm waiting for something, and read a book. I don't want to have to sit in front of a computer. Otherwise, it's not... a book. It's a story on my computer screen. Pretty cool for a site. Remember, this is getting Tron out there and every bit helps.

Then they can call it an interactive web comic or something. But you can't get mad if they call it a graphic novel and then people do compare it to what a graphic novel is actually known to be, which is usually on paper, when it really is more of a web comic.
