Wow!

Those are what I call Line Enders, as in, "Include those into a toy line and it will just stop selling and in passing kill any good will accrued from the target demographic."
The 4 inch Kevin Flynn core action figure just barely misses the mark to fall in that category.

Seriously.

Those are awesome, I'd definitely get a few if they ever made them.

I disagree. They are made for many Disney properties and are sold at the Disney store. They are a line unto themselves and you can just choose to ignore them if they aren't "your thing". I would buy them. I've been tempted before by other ones in the line until I remember that I am a 32 year old male. HA!

However, I would buy the TRON ones for sure because I loves me my TRON.

Cute. I already have a plush jawa, so I think I'm pretty full up on adorable plush junk...
If I saw the Tron one in a store and it was affordable, I would at least consider impulse buying one...not sure I would actually make the plunge though.
Tiny plushies are the sort of thing that in my imagination seems like it would be cute sitting somewhere, but in reality they just collect dust and take up space. Ha.

They remind me of the plush toys you get in those Claw Prize machines. I won a stuffed Stitch Doll once from one of them.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I get your point. However, the difference between TRON and those other Disney properties is the demographic they are aimed at. Like it or not, TRON and Tron:Legacy are movies aimed at males from 5 yo. up, and their average play patterns normally don't have too much use for cutesie plush toys.

Now, from the collectible point of view, sure, they could sell about 10,000 units of these worldwide to adult fans of the franchise, but for mass retailers to get on board they'd need to sell at least 20 times that amount of product, and I just't don't see it happening.

The more I see these the more I want them, I'm so digging the metallic trace patterns and the square eyes.

I think I've seen some of these kind of things in Disney Stores before. Not TRON-related, but other characters. And I gotta say, they usually look quite disturbing. The design of those TRON guys is kinda clever though.

Actually, they look like some Inca Dolls I saw at the Museum of Natural History...

I can't believe they're not able to pass through the sample stage to make more and sell these. I'd stop by their store and buy both the Tron and Sark plushies within a milo-second! Even for 'prototypes', they look alot more outstanding than the majority of the stuff I've seen them sell on their main site. The details of the circutry are spot on, and I love how they managed the proportions of the characters! Managing to make them visually both adorable and recognizable as icons within the Tron universe. Just the continuous idea of these not ever being retailed makes me sad. ):
