If PROGRAMS reflect the AGE of their USER, why didn't CLU reflect older FLYNN?

on Tuesday, April, 26, 2011 8:35 AM

Dumont reflected the age of his real world counterpart.

So, why didn't CLU's appearance reflect FLYNN's?

My guess is that a program's appearance updates upon contact with his user. Since FLYNN became a recluse and no longer contacted CLU, clu didn't update his visual appearance.

Course that theory blows up when CLU and FLYNN come face to face and CLU doesn't update.

So we have to assume that maybe only via IO towers a programs appearance can be updated?

Or maybe because CLU was a unique program with unique properties the rule doesn't hold true.

Or my final theory, a program's appearance is set at the time of its initial creation.

It did, when Clu was created. Maybe they are just stuck at that age.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

That's it exactly. It also means that a third movie can exclude the cost of de-aging. It's way too expensive. That's why I'm predicting a budget of around 150 Mil. For Tron 3, with an advertising budget next to nothing. But this begs the question:

Does the reflected AGE of a program have anything to do with its capabilities since programs only REFLECT what the users looks like, not their capabilities or handicaps.

Would a program that 'looked' old ever be assigned to the 'Game Grid'?

And does a program appear to age when it's updated? Either just a bit each time, or to resemble its User at the time of being updated? (Tron definitely looks older in T:L than he does in the original, after all. Just a bit, but it's noticeable)

What do you want? I'm busy.

Program, please!

Chaos.... good news.

I was wondering that as well, and does it happen when the program is access or when its software is actually updated?

The Term USER itself doesn't mean programmer anyway, so would the programs appearance reflect the programmer or the person using the program.

What about Tron? I would hope we get a de-aged Boxleitner in Tron 3. In Legacy they had an excuse to keep him helmeted, but in Tron 3 I would hope Tron himself gets to play a more prominent role.

End of line

Tron's face was damaged by CLU. The helmet will be removed, only briefly, to show this fact. The helmet has to stay. It would cost 40 mil. + to de-age Tron. If Flynn made another CLU, it would have been close to the end of Legacy, and look more like his current age. Another user posted this in another post. It might work. I just hope it's not misused like Smith in the Matrix Mistakes. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online
