Hi Grid users
Ok, i would be a very happy program if someone could give some info regarding the Light Cycles in Tron Legacy and wondered if anyone can help. Here are a couple of questions perhaps someone can answer?
1. Do the light cycles that CLU's Sentries and Rinzler use in the Grid battle sequence follow the same design as Sam's cycle or CLU's cycle or are they all unique in design? I looked at the Die cast models available of CLU's Sentry cycle and Sam's cycle and they appear to look similar, if not almost identical..... (Though i wondered if this was possibly just Spinmaster cutting corners?)
2. Can anyone post any pictures/ production art or design shots of the Sentry / Rinzler Cycles?
Any help would be much appreciated

I can answer one of them.
CLU's sentries have the same design as Sam's (oddly enough I was paying more than the usual attention to this scene because of its awesomeness)
CLU's however, is a different design. It has two separate headlights in the front. So it seems Spin Master is cutting corners.

As far as the toys go, Sam and Clu's cycles are of different design. The "Clu Sentry" cycles are the same as Sam's, however. Just orange. Not sure if that is Spinmaster saving on mold costs, or if it's that way in the movie. It would make sense if it were that way in the movie, however. as Sam just had a "stock" cycle and Clu's was custom.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Great stuff, thanks everyone. Yeah i noticed CLU's was custom but Sam's, the other programs and the Sentries being the same all makes sense thanks to your info. Thanks again....
Ok, heres the thing throwing me off... Looking at this picture of Rinzler's cycle, it appears to be the same design as CLU's but with Rinzler's Circuit colour instead. It has the same leg covering panels as CLU's too....
What do you people think? Is it the same as CLU's? Also, this is the second cycle Rinzler 'rezzez' onto after the somersault scene when the first cycle explodes. Was his first cycle the same design as this one scene in this final Rinzler cycle battle screenshot?

Nice one RustyMuffler,
Yeah i just remembered to check the trailers they released and looks like you are right. First pic shows Rinzler's cycles are the same prior/post somersault.
and the second pic shows that the Clu Sentry bikes are indeed the same as Sam's in design! (Thanks typicaltronname and other helpers!)

Now that the Blu-Ray's are out can we get some more info/images on this? From what I've gathered Sam, his teammates, and Clu's Sentries all use the same cycle with no leg covering, and headlights on the sides of a rectangular wheel opening. They also appear to wear the same or similar helmets.
Clu has a unique cycle which covers his legs, has headlights above a triangular wheel opening, and a spoiler. He wears his standard helmet.
Rinzler's (and what I assume to be 2 Black Guards) wraps around his legs like Clu's, but has headlights above a rectangular wheel opening, and lacks a spoiler. Rinzler wears his standard helmet, and I couldn't tell what the Guards were wearing.
Based on this information, Spinmasters toy for Clu's Light Cycle seems to be a hybrid of Clu's and Rinzler's cycle. It has a rectangular opening on the front wheel with no gap directly above it like Rinzler's. but it has a spoiler like Clu's. It got the headlights completely wrong by having them on the sides of the wheels like Sam's.
