If you really want to hear any movie with the sound coming through and sounding the way the sound engineers and designers meant it to be heard, the only way to go is headphoines because, A: They wear headphones when they do the mixing and levels, and B: listening in an open room inherently interferes with that mix since the sound bounces off the walls and re-mixes when it does that, and it doesn't matter how good your speakers are, they're still going to do it unless you have surround sound and listen to it in an specially padded room. They put the work into that sound, you may as well do them justice by hearing it the way it was meant to be heard.
Listening to this movie with headphones will give you a whole new perspective on how important sound and music really are to the movie. You'll notice tons of things in the background for instance, faint sounds of eighties video games, for instance, worked into many scenes.
But do listen to it on a decent pair of phones, will you? Which means not the atrocious ones you got with your iPod and nor the $9 ones you replaced them with at from Wal-Mart, but a *good* pair. Think "around the ear" rather than earbuds. You know this movie demands nothing less.
Last night I noticed, using headphones for the third home viewing thus far, that when Quorra is fleeing the light cycle grid and the light runner drops two bombs, the sound of them bouncing and rolling on the surface of the grid really does sound like metal tumbling on glass! where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

This is what I'm doing as soon as I get my copy. Which I'm keeping it secret from my family, because they'll want to watch it and HEAR it when I get the movie.

One of the reasons I actually used my digital copy.
The sound just popped out at me. I especially dig the TRON arcade SFX at the beggining of each grid game . . . the disc sfx sounded way better too. Totally agree here.

Thats great, i should try some time. One of my favorite video games is actually best played with headphones (maximum immersion), and I totally forgot that.

Okay, the sound is cool, I remember from IMAX.
I wish the T:L world felt and sounded more digital though, like the original. Since it does take place in a computer after all. But that'd neither here nor there...
Headphones FTW!
