So my parents are down there right now and we had asked them about a couple of things. First, I sent them to be on the lookout for TRON, and my wife asked for Tangled.

So they were talking to one of the employees. And here were his responses:

Tangled is too new. Say what? Too new? The local Walmart has a Tangled kiosk right now and they're telling us that they don't have anything in Disney World for it yet?

As for TRON... the response was: It's too old. WUT... I must not have an understanding of how advertising works because, what kind of a rock would you have to be living under at this point to not know about Legacy? And that's just for an average joe, not somebody who actually works FOR DISNEY...

It's beyond a damn shame when Disney employees aren't up on/knowledgable about what their employer is doing. Just goes to show and prove that there are still plenty of people out there that still have what I'll "kindly" call CRANIO-RECTAL IMPACTION , especially when it comes to things such as TRON, and TRON: LEGACY.

I'm going on a family trip down to WDW in June and I hope that ElecTRONica is still there, as I've heard it is supposed to be. I just returned from my time at Disney World, actually. I worked for Disney through their college internship program. I worked in one of their resorts, while my sister worked in Hollywood Studios. It's such a big company that we're hardly ever told of what merch we get in.

When I arrived to Disney World in Jan., we had this full wall of Tron: Legacy merch. I remember going through the parks too and they had a lot of Tron items, especially in the shop next to Mission: Space. The ride exit leads into the shop. I bought my limited edition Tron: Legacy mickey ears from there. So, check there when you all go.

Also! Go to Downtown Disney and go to Team Mickey. The last time I went, they had this big section of Tron: Legacy apparel. I bought Tron work out gear and the awesome, black jacket that Flynn wears when he comes in on the "party" at End of Line club. And apparently, the store next to Team Mickey had Tron related apparel that wasn't sports related.

At Hollywood Studios, in the way back, after you get off the tram that shows you backstage, they have the pressed coins of Tron: Legacy. So, make sure you get those too, although, there's a chance they might not be there anymore.

Sadly though, when I left the resort I was working at, the Tron section was replaced by Toy Story 3 and the only Tron things we had, was a pin and the Betrayal comic and the art book. I guess, it was said that Tron had a limited audience, so they weren't going to generate as much merch as some of the other "family-friendly" movies and such.

That cool, hooded, jacket. They had it there to buy at Team Mickey. They also had the clear, rain jacket that Gem wears to buy. It had orange lines in the fabric. It was really neat.
