There is a track that starts playing right after Castor orders his DJs (yeah I know they're played by DP) to "Change the scheme, alter the mood...". But this great sounding dance track is NOT on the soundtrack. Why? Where can I find it? Is it even by DP, and if so, on what other release of theirs? It plays in the background, muffled, as he meets with Castor and then again more clearly as the Black Guard paraglide from their recognizer into the End Of Line Club.
what gives?

There's way more than one song missing from the original soundtrack.
The song you're looking for is called 'Castor' and unfortunately it's only legally available on the 5 bonus track EP that was a pre-release order deal. abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Well, Titanic was the same way. Why not put all movie music on a CD rather then half of it. I would buy a double CD to get all the music. I love the Prelude to a sunrise. I bought the soundtrack for $40 at the official site to get the poster.
I could have spent $10 at Amazon to get the same CD. I don't feel bad about augmenting my official songs with the rest of the music from the film. If they don't want to offer this stuff at retail prices then I cannot feel sorry for refusing to make horders on ebay and Amazon money.

Answer: Greed.
Disney's marketing machine conjured up an insidious plan to milk as much money out of the fans by splitting up the album tracks across the globe and the web making fans who want it all buy the double disc from the U.K., the bonus tracks from iTunes and Nokia (U.K. only) and now the EP exclusively from Tronsoundtrack.com with purchase of the DVD/Blu-ray only. While we still don't know exactly which unreleased tracks will be on the EP it's probably a good bet there will still be some missing cues.

Yeah, that would have been nice. Unfortunately now it costs about $65.
I guess it's 'my fault' for not being on top of the soundtrack, but I don't see movies at launch. By the time I saw the movie and realized how much was missing from the US soundtrack, the 5 mp3 preorder for the US was long past and the UK soundtrack had long been sold out (unless I just can't find it.)
edit: I guess there wasn't a 5 mp3 preorder, just the second UK disc...
I couldn't know this info ahead of time because I had to avoid Tron postings online to avoid spoilers. Yes it's not Disney's fault that I don't like to see movies with large crowds but that's not something I should be punished for either.

Thanks VERY much for the info. Yeah that's nothing short of a RIPOFF not having the song on the soundtrack. YOu saw the movie after waiting 27 years, you bought the soundtrack. Seems like you should get the entire damn thing if you paid for it, especially since it's such a bangin' track. iTunes doesn't have it either.

Okay well I got my hands on a copy of Castor online, but the song seems to swing between being muffled sounding and, well, unmuffled and clear. Is it supposed to sound that way? I just have an MP3 and don't know what kind of processing it may have suffered through first. These marketing vultures left out almost an entire album's worth of music that SHOULD Have been on the soundtrack.

There's another song I was disappointed to see excluded from the soundtrack, and that's the one that begins to play as Kevin first embraces Sam in the safehouse. Does anyone know the name of the track?

Speaking of soundtracks, I was watching the great boat race on TV on Saturday, and during the run up to the start, in one part they actually used one of the songs from the movie.
