Hi all,
I don't know if this was posted on the site before, if so, I apologize for the double post. But I thought this was a very entertaining review of TRON: Legacy.
Well, it also helps that she's pretty hot too... LOL!

She watched the original Tron when she was a kid? Flight of the Navigator? These are movies I liked when *I* was a kid. I don't think she had even been born yet.

That was kinda my thought too, ChessMess. There's no way she's as old as me...I'm knockin' on the door of 40...LOL! She must have seen them played on the Disney Channel in the 90's or something....
Oh, and two thumbs up on the "Compliance!"
And IsoLine, I thought that line was pretty funny too. She was so nonchalant about the whole thing. At the point where she said something like, "...and when Sam gets zapped into the....um....uh....the....I forgot what it's called...", I was physically talking to my computer screen saying, "You mean...THE GRID??" LOL! She finally said "The TRON World", which works, I guess. I thought she was pretty funny and I agreed with most of what she said, but I disagreed with her thought that the ending was "cheesy". Maybe it's because I'm a bigger fan of TRON than she is, but I felt like she totally missed the point. Oh well, I'll chalk it up to her not being around when the original came out. LOL! But overall, I found her review to be pretty entertaining.

I have hugely disagree with some of her points.
1) The laser is like the replicator & transporter in Star Trek it can configure the matter patterns and data and materialize it into the "real world".
2) Quorra does not have Flynn's body or DNA.
3)There was nothing between Flynn and Quorra it was just teacher and apprentice relationship. To somehow see that there was something else there like sexual connection between them is not only sick, but WAY off base.
4) Sam was showing Quorra the *sunrise* not "riding into the sunset, for frak same it wasn't "cheesy", it was touching, and represtative of the dawning of a new day for Quorra and Sam. For? Quorra it's like a dream come true and it was touching in my opinion.
It's really sad that some people in this world are so frakkin jaded and bitter about life and the world that they can no longer find any thing sentimental or emotionally touching as a positive thing and have to dismiss it as "cheesy".
FFS If Sam just walked up to Quorra and french kissed her as Journey "dont stop believing" played, that WOULD be cheesy....

Actually Alan, you're right on all counts. She was definitely wrong on those things, and probably a few others. When I said that I agree with most of what she said, I guess what I was really trying to say was that I agreed with her insofar as, I too had a positive response to TRON: Legacy. In other words, just like her, I loved the movie! I guess she was just trying to make it light-hearted instead of a serious review. But then again, what do I know? I was distracted by her boobs... LOL!
