Seeing that whole security cam room and one guard bit made me think ENCOM must not a very special or secretive firm. When a company has lots of secrets and fingers in many pots, the guard will call the real security forces, who are armed with guns and such. In Flynn's day, it might have been that way but with the new day leadership???

Sam will toughen up security. He KNOWS everything about breaking in and can educate all the new guards about how to properly patrol.

Another awesome part is when Sam takes the camera out and Ernie simply taps the monitor with his coffee cup and magically the camera turns back on.

Settle down. I think ENCOM was great when Flynn's ideas of a free system were in play. But I mean that watching movies/tv shows where these big companies have a mini army to handle break ins and such.

So here's something that hit me...why doesn't Ernie know who Sam is? I mean, if Sam pulls some sort of shenanigans every single year, by now Ernie should just be clomping in: "Aw, c'mon Sam, is it that time again? Dammit, I just got a hot cup of coffee and a fresh doughnut, you couldn't have waited?" I mean, is Ernie new or something that he hasn't a clue? (though some of the stuff he says implies that he has indeed encountered Sam before--he doesn't seem alarmed that there's an intruder; he's pissed, but it seems like he knows it's not an axe murderer or something, he already knows it's "that guy" again)

I wonder how accurate the TV shows are, though. I mean, I've seen places with secured areas--granted, not large corporations, but still--and it seems to come down to reinforced walls, locked doors with proximity card readers for employees, a visitor sign-in system, sometimes security cameras, etc. There isn't a whole SWAT team sitting around watching for intruders, establishing a perimeter, etc. or anything. Generally it just comes down to "don't let anybody in who isn't supposed to be here."order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!
Chaos.... good news. |
