I really can't remember. And it's sort of pivotal to a story I'm doing. (To me it makes sense that Clu might not have taken him, afraid Rinzler might see something to make him remember he was Tron--considering the effect it has on him just to get a glimpse of Flynn. But I can't for the life of me remember if we see him there or not, because so much of that scene was focused on Clu, except that one part where Jarvis knocks stuff over.)

Yes he is. At very least, you see him rising on the elevator type thing, with Clu, Jarvis, and two black guards. You don't see him interacting with anything, though.

Aha. Yes, I do remember seeing him on the lift now. Well, I was hoping the answer would be "no" as it'd fit in nicely with my premise, but I can work with that too...thanks guys.

Maybe it was being in that location what caused Rinzler to start questioning his loyalty to Clu's scheme? That'd be a better build up than suddenly turning good after a quick glance at Flynn the elder.
