Is the Grid self-contained?

on Monday, January, 31, 2011 2:00 PM
There is one important question I would like to ask:

Is the Grid self contained? And by that I mean is the entire computer system located entirely within the basement of the Arcade, with no external links at all?

The reason why I asked is that I noticed, whilst watching the film, there was NO references to Users, E-mails, the internet, etc.
Therefore, I can only assume that the computer in the Arcade had no external links to other computers (or the internet) had has spent the last twenty years functioning all by itself.

I would like to know if anyone could help explain this a bit more.

Yes, that is correct. The Grid is completely isolated from any networks. It has no outgoing or incoming connections other than CDs, floppies, etc.

In Tron Evolution:
SPOILER... Mouse Over To Read:
When Flynn learns from Clu that a virus is infecting The Grid, he responds, surprised, that a viral attack shouldn't be possible, considering the grid is an isolated system. Clu responds saying that the virus stemmed from the Evolution of an ISO.

Oh right.

The problem I have is that all versions of Evolution are for Xbox, Wii consules, Playstations, etc.
And yet I don't have a playstation, Xbox, Wii, etc, I only have a PC, so that's why I don't really know that much about the game. :-/order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Currently the exchange rate is: 1 US dollar = 0.6207 British pounds sterling.

The game will cost you about 12.5 pounds, if bought from the US (plus shipping).
