Follow below to view an email sent from a screenwriter who met Steven Lisberger in the summer of 2006 to discuss a proposed sequel to Tron. Contained within are elements of the recent 'Tron: Legacy', written by Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis from 2007 onwards, plus several key plot changes.

There are some definite good ideas in this. Cora or "core" as a prototype, rather than the seemingly throwaway plot point of the ISOs. TRON being undercover in CLU's organization doing his best to help and bide his time, rather than the unexplained but dramatically convenient conversion as seen in Legacy.
Fake or not, I like some of the ideas here.

Actually, real or not, this things actually answers a few of the nagging details that never quite made sense to me. example:
-sam saying "they're turning around" after the huge jump and quorra introduction. They blew up the 2 other bikes, clu didn't give chase, and tronzler stopped at the hole. I'd ask "why aren't they chasing us?" so having a chase sequence through "grid city" up until the outlands would make more sense for the line.
-Tron's dual discs having a real purpose other than he stole it off a black guard and clu thought it looked cool when he re-purposed him.
-why sam couldn't just leave the grid the same way he got in, through the flynn's arcade grid replica. having him arrive at the comm tower portal and it be the only way in or out makes sense to me.

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this one - a blog with ONE post has all this great stuff? Not likely. Anyone believing this probably buys Super-Shadow's Episode VII - IX treatments too.
There HAS been a lot of work done on the Tron series over the years, I think some of it is in the Art of Tron Legacy book as well as floating all over the net. This has no reputable sourcing and is just BS.

Quorra: "Their vehicles aren't designed to go off the game grid. They'll malfunction on this terrain."
