I've been watching the forums and seeing various questions about the movie being made, but I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for some of the questions yet unasked or unanswered. Here are a few I have.
Why Rinzler? I mean, why the name? What does it mean? Was there a purpose for naming him that or did they just pull it out of a hat? The other program names I kinda get, but Rinzler just has me puzzled.
If a program takes the image of its creator/user, then why don't more of the programs on The Grid look like Flynn? Why is Clu the only one? After all, Flynn created The Grid, so why wouldn't most of the programs look like him? Maybe the guards do, but we just can't see their face. I know Kevin put programs created by other people in there, but most of them were his. How about Anon from Tron Evolution? Wouldn't he look like Flynn? We never see him without his helmet on and never hear him speak, so its just a guess, but he would probably look like Flynn under there.
Why exactly would Kevin Flynn not survive his reunion with Clu and why couldn't he just derezz Clu? I've seen the movie twice, and I know what Quorra said, but I still don't quite get it. I remember how he made Clu in his image, but so what? Unless he put a physical part of himself into Clu, I'm not sure just why he wouldn't survive unless its just an excuse the writers thought of as to why he hadn't just eliminated Clu himself yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ7cOrR9u6c ) is the Space Paranoids game they show the same one as the fan created Space Paranoids game, or did they have a mock up? Because it looks very much like a fan made game, and if it is, did they get credit for it?
