Why wasn't Yori in the new movie? I read an article about how it seems Cindy Morgan was actually pretty put out by the fact that she wasn't even ASKED. I can't see a real plot-based reason to not include her. If she was the program who operated the laser, she'd be needed in the new Grid too, right? Granted, I know Flynn couldn't copy over EVERYBODY when he made the new grid and all that jazz, but she seems like she was a significant enough character that he would. I mean, I know I've read that one of the games killed off Lora but that doesn't explain Yori's disappearance, unless programs cease to exist when their users die (in which case, boy are a lot of people screwed when Bill Gates kicks off!).
Practical reasons I can think of:
1. You can't have Tron turned into an evil being without having to have a pretty good-sized part of the plot devoted to what his girlfriend thinks of this, right?)
2. They barely touched on young-izing Bruce Boxleitner...no way they were going to do it for Cindy Morgan too, and really no way to put Yori in a full helmet for the whole movie and explain it like they did with Tron*.
3. Okay, granted, I'm sure they didn't want to retro-ize the new movie TOO much by having too many original actors in it, but...
*This is a TOTALLY SEPARATE thread discussion I think and maybe I'll have to start that one later too because I don't want the Yori thread taken over by it, but II won't lie, folks...I swear the only reason they had Tron in T:L at all was because there would be a Disney-burning fan revolt if he didn't make an appearance. I totally think Tron was a cameo role ONLY in T:L (that makes this fan personally want to start a revolt, but what can I say). There was really no reason (IMO) to make Rinzler--Clu's major enforcer-- have to also be Tron except that it was a way to work Tron in without having to make him a major character/player, which would require them to actually show his face). Otherwise, I honestly think the plot would've worked just fine without him (yes, Flynn & Co. could've gotten away from Clu at the end another way, quite easily) Would be interesting to find out too, if age-regressing actors were easy & cheap and they could've easily done it for BB too, if there would've been the Tron/Rinzler angle to the story at all or if Tron would've just been...Tron for the whole movie and had a bigger role.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I thought they should have had Laura and Alan both show up at the Dumont garage -- Sam's would-be foster parents showing concern over his latest escapade. As for why no Yori... for whatever reasons, Flynn simply chose not to copy her to his private system, but she may be in the ENCOM system still, so there is hope for Cindy in TR3N.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Going to conventions and hearing what the writers/producers say. They sometimes hate to detract from main or new characters (in this case, Sam, Quorra, and Jarvis) so Lora/Yori would've been a bit too much.
Probably saving her for the third movie...
Don't remember from Tron 2.0 - did Allan and Lora get married?

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Laura's work with the laser paramount. Since the laser is how you get into the digital world in the first place. Now that I think about, I'm surprised they didn't touch on the laser more in Legacy, given the shear significance of it. So, even though they didn't show Laura/Yori, they could have mentioned her in regards to the laser. Hmm...

Yes....They also had a son named Jethro Bradley in TRON 2.0. And not to sound touchy but it's Alan.....Since I have the same middle name and spelled the same way I gotta put that correction in.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

It was. Lora and Dr. Gibbs were the pioneers in laser digitizing for Encom. It would be silly to think that they didn't have some hand in the final Shiva laser's creation. "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |
