So I picked up a Kevin Flynn white deluxe disc today and when I turned it on, it sounds weird. It almost sounds like the supplied batteries are running low so I swapped them out from my Sam disc and it has the same sound so I don't think its the batteries. Does anybody else's disc sound like that or did I get a bad disc?

It's definitely a change or alteration of components. I posted this video because I thought that the discs sold here (Singapore) were different (both using a new set of batteries):

Then a friend got a Sam's disc from the US and it sounds just as the one sold in Singapore.

So I guess the only ones with the faster sequences were the ones from the 1st wave.
