Has anyone noticed that major gaming site Kotaku has been running a story nearly every day that somehow slams TRON Legacy? Are rival studios paying the different writers to keep up the negativity about it or something?

I don't think so - they are slighting the movie itself, not TRON Evolution. Examples:
