I was unable to see Tron over it's opening weekend for two reasons. 1.) I've been suffering from an explosive toothache (wisdom tooth). 2.) I promised my fiancee that we'd go see it together.
Anyways, so I finally saw it last night and it was sooooooooooooooo much better than I thought it was going to be. It's funny how our minds try to fill in the missing areas of a film's story/plot from a short trailer... and I must say that the trailers doesn't do this movie justice since the film is so much better than the sneek peeks.
Anyways, since it was Wednesday and almost a week after it was released, the theater was comfortable with only 20+ people filling seats... so it felt much more personal. Liz and I was able to cuddle up, get cozy sharing popcorn and sneaking the occasional kiss... Oh.. and I hate to say that they weren't showing a 3D screening in my area..
This moment we spent together had a much deeper meaning to me. I'm sharing something from my childhood and my fandom with the love of my life... plus it's the first time I've been in a theater in over 5 years.. so it was super special.
Liz really like the movie and I seriously loved it. Much better than what I was expecting. I loved the back story and pretty much everything about it.... Me and her don't get a chance to see each other much since we both work all the time and she lives out of town... So the movie became much more special to me in so many different ways.
I just wanted to share this real quick.. I'm not on here as much as I use to be (work is crazy with my time)... So I thought I'd pop in and express this... Going to see it again soon. |

Thanks, guys.. I know that she must have felt indifferent before seeing it because she saw the first movie and thought it was too weird for her to understand. She only wanted to see Legacy because I wanted to see it so bad... and she told me later that she really really liked it. Mentioned how rare it was to see a sci-fi these days and think to yourself, 'Wow, I never seen anything like that before.'.. so yeah.. she really liked it. where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online |

How cool for you. My "love of my life" hates TRON.
She's the "Search Engine" as dubbed by Steven Lisberger, and she has found us amazing things for the archives, but she will not watch the films. EVER!
Good for you to have one who can appreciate TRON!

Wow, Dave.. Sorry to hear it.. However, I guess that Liz made an excepting since we were apart for 12 years and she's been trying so hard to make us work since we got back together.... so I guess her liking the movie was an unexpected byproduct... I think I might have her hooked.. :P..
Take care, bud.. I'm rarely here these days.. Miss our old conversations.. (and I miss I-76)...

LOL, it was my partner that got me geeked out too. Can't believe no one else ever did...I've dated other computer geeks, I hang out with them...and this is the first I've heard of someone saying "dude, I TOTALLY loved Tron as a kid!"?? Amazing.
What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!
Chaos.... good news. |
