Doesn't look like it can go terribly fast. But it does seem to be a very faithful "chop" in the mold of the bike as seen in the concept trailer, and eventually the feature film.

Yeah, we had a thread about this many many weeks ago. It's got its flaws but overall it shows proof of concept pretty well. Maybe one day we will have a real lightcycle contest with many of these bikes in play.

Someone just needs to make an electric one, then it can be leaded with speakers to produce an authentic sound.
Something about a lightcycle with a combustion engine is one of the most unaesthetic things I have ever seen. It's like someone scratching a chalk board.
