Why didn't Flynn just destroy his own Identity Disc

Considering that SAM did not have one, thus they are not needed to exist, why didn't Flynn just destroy the one he had? In the original you materialized with it. In Legacy given the guards comments programs without Identity Discs are common. So Flynn could have erased or destroyed his and thus ensuring CLU would never have been able to get it.

because his disk holds the required coding (information) to allow Quorra to escape the system.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I never got the impression he ever thought a program could actually leave the computer world. He even mentions in surprise that 'Clu must have found a way'. Or did I just miss this?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Yeah, explanation around DD seemed to be that Flynn's disc held the key for many different operations. CLU needed Flynn's disc to execute large programs. Essentially calling down power from the main frame to power up executable code. You see this when he uses the disc to start up the rectifier. Now, the rectifier seems to be something of CLU's design. Flynn says "this isn't supposed to be here".

Yet if you remember, CLU was Flynn's help in designing the grid/world. He was made to help create things in the grid yet didn't have the ability to create programs.

Now in my assumptions...It seemed he could create vehicles and weapons but couldn't create programs. Kevin's disc is also the "key to the next frontier" which is the way out of the grid. Kevin gives Quorra the disc since he wants Quorra to be brought out to the real world. He thinks it is possible because the ISO's root code/DNA is detailed enough. This seems hinted at when Sam says "didn't you program her" and Kevin responds "Some of it... the rest is just... beyond me" which is right when the DNA strand comes up. Its like Kevin is saying that he can program a computer to contain a human but the stuff that makes up a human is still beyond his coding ability. Like the code of nature or God.

There is something implied overall about the computer digitizing humans with all their complex structure creating an imprint on the computer that later causes the ISOs to be possible. Hence, even though the grid was a human's programming, the idea that a computer can contain all the detail of nature/God's work when it digitizes a human is where things come into "miracle" territory. This detailed genetic data which is more complex then even current science can figure out easily is contained in the computer and later gives rise to the ISOs due to the imprint and later the "biodigital jazz" that happens which allows the ISOs to come into existence.

This funky code being seen as a corruption to the system by CLU and yet its "imperfection", maybe genetic mutation, is exactly what makes people human. In high contrast to software which is generic code. Even CLU eventually decides that Flynn "You've been corrupted" maybe seeing Flynn's genetic code in the system as imperfect.

I dunno... this is how I put it together in my mind over the months working on the film at DD.

I always had the impression that only 'game' programs received discs. In the original none of the control programs or the people working on the simulation had discs:

Come to think of it, I don't think even the guards had discs.
