So, I noticed Jeff Bridges hosted SNL last night, but I was really disappointed at the lack of ANY reference to Tron or Tron: Legacy. He didn't even give a shout-out T:L was premiering this weekend in his opening monologue.
Even during the commercial breaks, they only showed True Grit trailers.
So, as I've admitted before I sometimes look too much into things like this, but do you think Disney/Jeff/either has already 'moved on' to the next thing, even though it's ONLY T:L's opening weekend?abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I was stunned that there was no mention of Tron:L on SNL! I can't fathom why they didn't. There was even a 'western' skit, not a direct play on True Grit but still! All I can figure is that Disney didn't want any Tron related skits for fear of putting it in a bad light or Bridges is just burned out on TL promotion. To not even just say the movie name in the opening monologe as 99% of every other guest host has done just blows my mind.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Yeah, I was surprised they only had the 5 second Tron clip as well.

I agree. What a totally blown opportunity. I can't believe they blew a SNL Digital Short on f'ing T.I. and another lame penis-Christmas song.

Wasted Opportunity....Oh My God tell me about it. I was soo pissed that they did everything that wasn't funny in the show. Its almost like they didn't want to look like TRON fans so they did all these alternative skits that were just stupid. I hope Jeff got paid well for that embarrassment of a show.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlinewhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I watched it too, on and off. I did see a commercial or two for Tron Legacy, but nothing else was said about it. The whole show wasn't even that funny. SNL has changed a lot over time, and not for the better. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

That was a weak SNL, no doubt about it. The one with Robert Deniro was weak too.

It seems like they don't make the big stars work very hard any more. I noticed that with DeNiro, too, like someone mentioned above. It used to be that when you got a big star you got a big show. But now all they do is maybe one, "Real" skit and the rest are usually look-into-the-camera-so-it's-not-so-obvious-that-you're-reading-every-damn-line skit or a mock-interview where you just sit there while the SNL player does all the work. It's lost any sort of need for real acting/performance chops as a host. SNL just wants the name attached to the show which converts to easy advertising.
Even the Paul Rudd one was terrible and he can actually perform that style of comedy. Honestly, there are maybe only 5 actors that really try still; Baldwin, Carrey, Walkin. etc, and Jon Hamm has been a breath of fresh air. It's actually a good cast. I like almost every player. But it's like SNL is scared shitless to take any sort of chance on anything anymore.

The last SNL I watched was with Betty White was more over the top and hilarious. Maybe having Tina Fey there & a few alumni helped the skits.
This episode of SNL started off funny enough. I liked the skit with Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Biden, Hillary. I haven't watched SNL that much in recent years, but do they still sometimes have the guest host break in with, "Live from New York it's Saturday Night!"
Most of the skits weren't funny. It even started off strange with Jeff singing with Cookie Monster. At the time I thought, "Are they going to make the Cookie Monster say something off color?" Isn't Cookie Monster part of Jim Henson/Disney?
I did like the gift wrapping department skit near the very end, but that's about it. And yes I thought certain they'd do at least 1 TRON related skit. Definitely a missed opportunity.
The skit that made me cringe it was so bad was the "Jeffd" which was a take on "Punk'd"
I imagine his appearance back in 1983 was much more edgier. There's a clip of it in this interview with Jay Leno:

I finally managed to capture the little promo piece where he and Fred Armisten did a TRON thing, but that was it for TRON on this one.
I recorded every primetime show for three days and the only time they played it was on the news just before the show.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineorder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion DaveTRON
