Finally got my Tron Legacy Ice Watch from Japan and... it's nice but definitely not what I expected...
The watch itself is all black with blue and white details on the bezel. Inside the watch's face, just the sweep hand is blue, the hour and minute hands are black which make it a bit difficult to see against the all-black background.
Nothing in the watch glows in the dark. And what impressed me the most is that 95% of the watch is plastic. For this price, I was expecting something... metallic, like the Swatch watches. But no, everything is plastic.

That's not too bad looking if you didn't pay much for it.

To me that's a pretty cool Tron-looking watch. I know someone has submitted a design to that site (the 7RON watch) and it might get made eventually... but that's a pretty good substitute until then...

WOW, that is nice!!
The ice-watch cost 9,975 yen (@ 118 USD) which, IMO, is not cheap for a plastic watch.
It IS limited to 500 pieces ... but the RPM watch is definitely cooler hehe

Well I'm glad that I didn't pull the trigger on the Ice-Watch now, I thought that it was all steel. Seems like a rip for a watch that is mostly plastic. Maybe for $40, but $120...no thanks. If this job I'm going for works out, then I might have to treat myself to the RPM LED watch. Thanks for the information, and I'm sorry you had to find out the hard way by dropping all that money on the watch.
