I was really surprised that Microsoft Bob had a cameo, but it was funny when the Recognizer landed on him
Do I really have to say I made that up?.

I was most saddened when the Grid Bugs had a song/dance scene. I know it's Disney, but it just didn't fit the film.

Not to mention the whole Grid Bug & Recognizer love scene.

In the trailer, we see same going into a garage marked "Dumont" either Enterprises or Industries, can't remember which.
Of course, the nod to "Dumont" is cool, but how many people remember the conversation with Ed Dillinger where Dillinger tells him "Encom isn't the company you started in your garage" and he replies "I wish I were back in that garage"?
Although it isn't explored, we can assume this is THE garage he was referring to.
Saw it last night and there are several subtle (like this) and not so subtle references to the original.
Great movie. Script was lacking a little, but definitely a fun ride, and one I will be taking again!
My friends, my fellow conscripts, we have scored! |

I was just thinking that after the Microsoft Bob comment. lol.
He'd be kinda like Bit, but without an owner, and he can speak normal, and he just darts around from Program to Program, eagerly offering to help with menial tasks. And then finally someone says, "There's something you can help me with. Target practice." '> |
