Hey guys. I hardly ever check to see what programs are new, but today I did, and there's a new iPod/ iPhone game out that's based on TRON Legacy.
It's a tank game, and seems to be pretty well made. The controls are great, and of course the artwork is beautiful. The levels all have that layered-glass and lights that TRON: Legacy is going to make popular come the holidays.
I would have liked for there to be more Daft Punk music throughout the app -- maybe there will be updates to the program as time goes on?
I would be very disappointed if this was the only TRON app that Disney Studios puts out, but it's fun for what it is.

This was announced at E3. Just downloaded it on iTunes, for FREE. My favorite price 
However, I don’t own an iTouch, iPhone, or iPad. Just a 3rd Generation Nano.

The graphics are fairly detailed, so it looks good on an iPad too. Guess what I did at lunch today? :-)

Anyone else see the binary code in the description of the app? It says "This TRON app will evolve. ComiTRON coming 072210."

There is a way to get it. I've gone through the instructions and successfully downloaded the app and having fun playing the game;
Go to the folowing link and do what they tell you to do, then have fun. Not sure if future updating will work, but by then a UK friendly app should be available, I guess.

I have been switching my iTunes accounts back and forth to see if the Tron app has been updated, but would be grateful if fans in the US could advertise it if it happens, on this thread.
As far as I know, no additional content was given out at the SDCC. Is that the case?

I've noticed during the last couple of weeks that when you enter the game grid on the iPhone game, a brief demo of the future light cycle game can be seen.

Found a TRON trivia game for 59p on iTunes - a basic quiz program, fairly unspectacular but I did get top of the online high score last night, probably not for long though...
