Good article, thanks for posting! This is one of the rare occasions where I think studio interference is welcomed.

Very interesting to hear him be open about the mouth movement issues. Usually people are more concerned about PR issues and will deny that there's a problem even if it's obvious (not that it's necessarily obvious in this case).
I first read about this on io9.com and the comments were generally positive regarding that. It's as if, because he wasn't trying to hide that it's not 100% all the time, people were more willing to forgive the problem.
Hopefully that's going to be the prevailing attitude. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Its possible they'll do their best before the film officially releases. But then later on
they can go back to fine-tuning CLU before the TRON Legacy Bluray / DVD releases |

Harry Knowles seemed to find the effect unsettling in a good way, that it makes the character of Clu more sinister.
The Clu abides, man...

I'd rather see the full movie and take the film as a whole. But from what I've seen at the sneak peek at ElecTRONica and at Tron Night, 35-38~ish Flynn and Clu 2.0 CG looks great IMO.
I've seen real people that look far more unsettling, robotic, evil, and off-putting in real life. I'd rather look at Clu and mid-30's Flynn, at least they're fictional.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Tron Unit Wrote:The JoBlo review specifically criticizes the inaccuracies of the Clu digital makeup and from what I've seen in the trailers and such I would have to agree. The eyes are the biggest problem I've seen. They are far too sloped and angled compared to Bridges in the 82 film. Plus some of the head movements when Clu says "I'm not your father Sam but I'm very very glad to see you," when he turns his shoulder and his head doesn't quite follow at the same time makes it look pasted on. I was hoping Kosinski would take Pixar's notes and fine-tune the CGI on Clu but it sounds like he's just accepted it with all its little flaws. |
uhm..the reason why his head didn't follow immediately after he started turning is cause he was still looking at Sam in a sinister way..that's not a screw up, that's normal. ppl can physically start turning their body before their head follows...
and maybe the reason why the eyes don't look exactly like 82 jeff is because of the way jeff's eyes look now....after all they were just using pics and stuff of what he looked like before as an example to de age him..but the physical model was his real face as of now..therefore they weren't able to get his eyes to look as young as they did before..
honestly not trying to single anyone out but in general i think ppl are over analyzing young kevin flynn and clu's cgi effects..is it perfect? fck no..but it's not that bad either..honestly compare it to curious case of benjamin button and you;'ll realize just how damn good they did with jeff bridges.. I don't think they should attempt to 'perfect' Clu 2.0's 'uncanny valley'. After all, the film's theme lies around Clu's vision of perfection and his obsession with Utopia that became a dystopia. It makes a lot of sense because he views the ISOs and others as imperfect.
Therefore, for the film crew to try and perfect Clu is anathemic to the film's story. Clu IS a walking imperfection whether he knows it or not. Killing Clu off would not solve the problems of the dystopia and to change all this, it all lies in the power of Clu Fu to set things right. And there's only one person who could do that.
That's right.
Old Man Flynn.
Clu: How'd you beat me, old man?
Flynn: Like I said a long time ago, it's all in the wrists.

I have much respect for Kosinski for his admission than Joe Quesada from Marvel Comics who would'nt take responsiblity for his sheer stupidity over the storylines (long story) as an editor of chief. It takes courage to own up to things that could'nt be achieved but acknowledge the accomplishments, however. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online |

I am aware of that fact but when you watch it it doesn't look right. I've watched that trailer probably at least 100 times and that shot always bugs me. It doesn't look natural. Looks like a cut and paste job.
